Our Mission
Because of Christ’s gracious love for us, the ALC Balm of Gilead exists to bring awareness, encouragement and support to men and women whose lives have been altered by sexual abuse, and to educate all people about God’s plan for human sexuality.
Our Vision
The ALCA Balm of Gilead - Sexual Abuse Ministry - will use the following to accomplish its mission:
1. Education Seminars
2. Guidance and Reporting
3. Support Groups
Our Ministries
The Lord also will be a refuge for the oppressed, a refuge in times of trouble.

Balm of Gilead is a rare perfume used medicinally, and named for the region in Gilead where it was produced.
For the hurt of the daughter of my people am I hurt; I am black; astonishment hath taken hold of me. Is there no balm in Gilead; is there no physician there? Why then is not the health of the daughter of my people recovered? Jeremiah 8:21-22
Jesus is our Balm of Gilead.
